I agree about the 2 level pricing for drinkers and non-drinkers. I like the idea of going local again (even though NOLA is tempting) because it will also increase cost for many unless we could get a super hotel rate. I like the paperless idea as well. Yeah - I can't drink all those big beers, so i give them away to the men....I like the singing and dancing on the tables part....what fun! It's pretty funny when they play Sweet Home Alabama and every German know the words and they just love those American songs! We will probably go to Oktoberfest.....

Wow - it's getting HOT in here..... I can't make it to a party, but I will toast to all of us at Fruhling Fest on May 2.....just another fest created for beer here since Oktoberfest is 6 months away.....those giant beers....I have to use 2 hands to lift and drink....and to think we get 3 tickets for...

Jan - sorry to hear about your dad. Glad you got to spend time with him before he passed away.....I lost my mom suddenly and it can feel like the ground has been ripped out from under you. Each holiday seemed to bring new grief, but it gets easier.

Yep - been here since July 3 (07)....and am DONE with winter....just returned from a week in Canary Islands where the temp was 80 and we got tans! Returned to Germany where is was cold and wet all week....so, I am totally done....today was a beautiful sunny warm day....kids were out all day playing....

I did not have a problem posting the test pic at all....I have Vista and I use IE...Dan uses Firefox, but I dont like it. I am not a comp geek so I have no way of knowing what the problem could be, but I have never had a problem on the site. Yes, I am sure my friends would be proud to know their boo...
