Believe it or not, as much as I love heights and rock climbing my kids are afraid of heights... 
Hey, it aint Holland but I think you'll like Belgium. From Brussels you're within 2,5 hours from both Amsterdam and Paris. Germany is a nice country too, except when we play soccer / football against them...
Anyway, make sure you stop by when you come to Holland!
