One option we're looking at is creating our own playlist for the reunion. My preference for 80s music is not necessarily what everyone else might choose, so here's your challenge:
If you got to choose the music, what would you include? List your 80s Top 20 AND Top 20 party songs you'd like to include (any decade, any genre, even "Eine Klein Nachtmusik," if that gets you going). We'll compile them all together into "The CHS Class of 86 Ultimate Playlist" and use it at the reunion.

Ok -- I'll be the brave one to respond to this first. Just remember - everyone's music taste is different, which is why we want input -- so, don't shoot the messenger if you don't like my suggestions! Here goes.....

You actually limited it to 20? I went through my MP3 library from 1980 to 1987 and came up with about 5 times that... and I didn't even get to party songs.
It was interesting listening to a lot of those songs and really spending some time thinking about them, rather than just have them playing in the background. It had been a while since I experienced the memories and emotions they invoked.
Have to make some time to post my list tomorrow. May put the whole thing up just to see what kind of discussion it might create.

Actually Shane, I could have gone on and on for days with 80's songs! Probably party ones, too. If no one else responds, then they'll be at the mercy of our playlists!

Do it anyway. I cleaned mine up, but I threw a few oddballs in anyway.

"Less music by dead guys"
"Not your father's classic rock"
Where's your list, Scott?
