John's fence is officially out, on the ground, smashed to pieces. I'm at the office right now; we just go a generator hooked up so customer service could access their computers, and they're saying we won't have power back until maybe Monday of next week. So that's going to put me a week behind on a schedule that was already tight. With having to get cleanup done at the house, and damage control at work, I just won't have the time.

Does that mean you're taking your website and going home?

Sad to hear that John, if anyone deserved to be there it is you. If you're ever on this side of the ocean, let us know, we'll find room in the house for you and your family. :(

John, I'm so sorry to hear that you won't be able to make it!! I remember the winter blizzard of '93 in Rochester. And I thought I was prepared for the northeast winters, having lived in Colorado for a few years growing up! Was *I* ever wrong!! It took a week for Rochester to dig it's way out!

We're thinking of you!

Thanks for all the well wishes guys and gals. We're somewhat back to normal now...I still have a bit of debris to clean up, but not nearly as bad as other areas of the city...and our basement remainded dry, unlike many (my boss has 4ft of raw sewage backed up in his basement). All in all, Denise, the kids and I were fairly lucky. Thursday night, as Denise and I were getting ready for bed, she had put her foot down and said that I was to walk into my boss' office the next morning and switch two vacation days...that she didn't want to go see her sister B.J. anyway (they've been having an email tiff for the past month  ). I almost reserved the flight right then and there, but decided to wait and see if my boss was still going to go for it (and to give Denise an extra night to sleep on it). Now, vacation days or not, there's just no way I can take the time off and have IT ready for the hollidays. :(

I've gotten quite a few messages from everyone here thanking me for the site, and I wanted to let you know that I appreciate the thanks. Most of the thanks goes to all of y'all though. I've set up many forums over the years, dealing with varying topics, and I can honestly say that this is only the second successful one. The credit for that goes to y'all, as all I did is throw a mat on the floor. I didn't think the forums would do this well, as 20 years is a long time for people to just jump back into things, but most who have been posting on here haven't missed a beat. Without the reunion committee, and the willingness of each of you to 'talk' on here, this place would just be another dot on the web.

The CHS85 sister site sounds like a great idea. My husband is jealous that he doesn't have a site to visit everyday 24 hours a day! (thanks John!)

My fault. I updated it earlier today. Sorry; I'll go fix that.
