Believe it or not (the BIG man that he THINKS he is), Zachary hates to dress up for Halloween....doesn't get that from me!! I still dress up. He told me "dressing up for Halloween is immature." Hmmmm. I tell you, he won't want the costume, be he'll aggravate me to death to go to Walmart and buy more action figures. Maybe I won't show him this after all. Thanks for the tip Jerry! hee hee

Barrett (my four-year old) went as Thomas the Tank Engine the last two years. This year, he's going for a change: James the Shiny Red Engine. That's my boy.

Sophia went through 2 costumes last year. For a month leading up to Halloween, she was determined to be Eloise (little terror who lived at the Plaza Hotel in NYC). We made her a costume and everything. Halloween night, she puts on her LSU cheerleader outfit instead.

Terrific story, John. Thanks for sharing it. Tell Dark I said "May the Force be with you!"

Shane, my daughter is the same way. That's why I wait till maybe a week before Halloween to buy her costume. She's been saying for the past month she wants to be a witch and then she gets on the phone with her cousin Emily and tells her she is going to be a fairy. Now she is back to wanting to be a witch so who knows!

He is adorable, John. Time does fly now doesn't it? Before you know it he will be borrowing the keys to your car!

Johnny,
All the pictures of the kids are great. I'm going to show my kids their cousins tomorrow.
Are you and Denise coming down for the holidays? I'm sure Mrs. Shirley has a get-together up her sleeve.

Not for the upcoming holiday season. We're going to Canada this year to visit Denise's family. We probably won't be back down that way until the summer.
