Jerry - I have not had Spotted Dick yet.....I think us Americans are scared to order it.....my grandma came out in June and we were reading the menu (she is blind so I had to read it to her)...she loves dessert....when I said Spotted Dick...she said I will take the Sticky Toffee Pudding.....good choice, Grandma!

Hi Angie, it's Sarah. You shouldn't be afraid, there is nothing like a good bit of Spotted Dick after a nice English roast dinner! In fact I think we will have to make one when you come to visit next month.
It is a suet cake full of raisins and steamed a bit like a very light Christmas pudding.
