I took a computer class at CHS. The basketball coach (what was his name?) obviously got on someones bad side and was forced to teach the class. I think they were Apple II e's, and his first words to the class were "so how do you turn this thing on?"Maarten wrote:Come to think of it: my first ever computer science lessons I got at CHS. I took the class our senior year....Apple IIE's I think....but was already pretty versed. Got my first computer in '79 (Atari 400), and by the time the CHS class came around, I was already programming in BASIC and PASCAL.Maarten wrote:Come to think of it: my first ever computer science lessons I got at CHS. Brazele (sp?). I had him as a coach/teacher at River Forest too. Yeah, he really had no business teaching that class.phil wrote:I took a computer class at CHS. I'm guessing Geek Central did not include pop music.
