What did we say the dress code was going to be?

Post by illenbergerj »

I know I saw soemthing in the very beginning about what the acceptable attire would be for the cocktail party, but now I can't find it. I thought it was men in sportcoats and slacks or something....??? What about the ladies?

Officially, it's "cocktail attire", whatever that is. That said, we're not going to kick you out if you out, no matter what you're wearing.

dinner?

Post by illenbergerj »

Okay, this might be a silly question, but I didn't see anything about it in the invitation. I know there will be food at the party, but would you recommend dinner prior to the party or will we be okay without? Just wondering...

Jan, there will be food served, but it's party food/finger foods but we should have a good selection. Alchohol is open bar.....

I know a great many of our classmates would find boots the most comfortable choice and who am I to deny their comfort. All those aged feet will probably need orthopedic boots anyway (do they make those?)

Actually they do - however the style is limited to one choice...they only come with rubber soles (so you do not slip), gray to match your hair and only with a zipper for ease of putting on. LOL!

Get down, turn around, go to town, boot-scoot boogie

Leave your canes and walkers off the dance floor, please.
