Bring back any memories????

Post by Julie Mathies »

I'm trying to find the best way to post this, so hope it works. Cathy Byron sent this e-mail to me, and it's such a classic that we decided to try to post it here. I can't paste the pictures, so will have to do them one by one as an attachment. Sorry for the length, but it's the pictures that make this so good......

Sorry guy's, I can't get this to work. The picture images are saved as Bitmaps, so I can't attach them here. I'll see if I can manipulate them into JPEG, and will try again. Check back later!!

If anybody is curious about what Julie is talking about, e-mail me and I'll forward the e-mail to you. It's all classics from our childhood. Get ready to say "I had that!"

Julie,

Assuming you are using Windows XP - open the bitmap using MS Paint. Then just Save As a .jpg

Thanks for the tip, though, John. I'll see what I can do!! Took me forever to find Paint, but I got it!! Doing this from work, of course, so wasn't sure what I had out there. I live in a world of "Medtron"....don't know much else!

A true geek wouldn't have a need for images period.
